Castle Brands Appoints Battipaglia VP
Sales Eastern Region

23, 2006, New York, NY; Castle
Brands Inc. (AMEX: ROX), a developer and
international marketer of premium branded
spirits headquartered in New York, today
announced the promotion of Robert A. Battipaglia
to Vice President Sales Eastern Region.
Battipaglia joined Castle Brands as Regional
Manager East Coast in 2003 and was responsible
for New York and the surrounding states.
The third generation of his family in
the spirits business, he has over 25 years
experience in the industry including 15
years spent at Allied-Domecq. In this
newly created position, Battipaglia will
be responsible for sales management from
Maine to the District of Columbia. He
will oversee 17 wholesalers and brokers
and supervise a staff of eight. In addition,
he will take on certain national sales
responsibilities.

at Castle Brands, said: “Bob has
proven his management and leadership ability
over and over again. CBI is on a fast
track for growth and we need people of
Bobâ's caliber to lead our call
to action. The East Coast is a major focus
for us and I am confident that with Bobâ??s
expanded role we will see very strong
growth in this important market in 2007."
For his part, Battipaglia said: “When
I left Advantage Brands, sales in my territory
were about 200,000 cases a year. Even
though shipments in the same territory
at Castle were much less, I saw tremendous
opportunity. I wanted to be involved in
building brands at a forward-looking company.

our current portfolio and to welcoming
new brands such as the recent addition
of Jefferson's and Sam Houston Bourbons".
